Innovation, Energy, and Impact: Meet the Winners of the Enactus Italy National Competition 2025

Two days filled with enthusiasm, meaningful connections, and extraordinary projects: the Enactus Italy National Competition 2025 took place on May 14–15 in two outstanding locations — the Randstad Box & Tech Talent Factory and the Allianz MiCo Convention Centre in Milan — becoming a vibrant stage for social innovation and sustainable entrepreneurship.

📍 May 14 – Randstad Box & Tech Talent Factory

The day opened with the Opening Round Competition, where Randstad Box and Tech Talent Factory welcomed Enactus students and Faculty Advisors from over 15 Italian universities. Students presented the projects they developed over the past five months as part of the Enactus Program for Impact Entrepreneurship in collaboration with SocialFare, before juries of professionals evaluating them based on business principles, entrepreneurial leadership, level of innovation, and the actual or projected positive impact of their activities. This was followed by the Enactus Link ‘n’ Act Hub – Thriving through Connection, a space that enabled inspiration and exchange among companies, students, and professionals from various sectors.

📍 May 15 – Allianz MiCo Convention Centre

The competition reached its peak on the second day at the Allianz MiCo Convention Centre, with the final stages of the two main tracks:

  • The Final Round of Competition for early-stage projects from the Program for Impact Entrepreneurship (with SocialFare)

  • The Final Competition for advanced-stage projects from the Pre-acceleration Program for Impact Projects (with WDA)

Hosted by Virginia Castellucci, Enactus alumna and Head of Sustainability & Advocacy at 3Bee and XNatura, and enriched by contributions from Francesca Corno (Polo Education, Gruppo Feltrinelli) and Betty Pagnin (Buddy Job and One Day Group), the event culminated in the announcement of this year’s winners — with special awardees to be revealed in the coming days.

Here are the winners of the Enactus Italy National Competition 2025:

🏆 Enactus Italy National Champion 2025

Category: Advanced Projects

🏅 Enactus UniMi – University of Milan Project: ReWear

ReWear aims to fight the fast fashion culture by promoting creative upcycling. Through DIY kits and hands-on workshops, the project empowers individuals to transform their clothes into unique, personalized, and sustainable garments. With 92 million tons of textile waste generated globally each year, ReWear responds to a major environmental challenge with an accessible, creative approach — ready to ride the wave of sustainable fashion and hands-on hobbies. The project advanced significantly through the Pre-Acceleration Program for Impact Projects in collaboration with WDA, and demonstrated its impact potential on the National stage.

🎖 Runner-Up:

Enactus UniPd – Project Vimini An AI-powered app that helps families reduce food waste with practical suggestions and engages food retailers in building a more sustainable supply chain.

🏆 Enactus Italy National Champion 2025

Category: Early Stage Projects

🏅 Enactus UniUd – University of Udine Projects: Agrichange & Grel

🌱 AGRICHANGE

A tech innovation using static magnetic fields to enhance seed germination — even under challenging conditions like drought and salinity — with no water or electricity required. Ideal for regions vulnerable to climate change, Agrichange offers a low-tech, mobile, and scalable solution. The project is currently in the testing phase, with early-stage partnerships under development.

♻️ GREL – Project Polvar

An eco-friendly blend that turns organic waste into high-quality compost without the need for equipment or additives, while eliminating methane and bad odors. With two product lines for gardens and balconies, Grel makes composting possible even in indoor spaces, helping improve urban waste management and restore soil fertility.

Both projects were developed as part of the Enactus Program for Impact Entrepreneurship, in collaboration with SocialFare.

🎖 Runner-Up:

Enactus La Sapienza – Project Hyleon A solar panel made from non-toxic materials, designed to provide communities with decentralized, autonomous energy generation through a circular approach.
