FAQs
- 01The program is conducted in English, so all lessons and activities aimed at the Enactus student community are available in English, including the final competition. This allows teams to include international students and to prepare from the start to operate in global and intercultural contexts — just as happens in the Enactus national and international competitions.
- 02Interested students must submit their application through the dedicated form for their university, accessible from the page 👉 https://www.enactusitaly.org/en/become-an-enactus-student.By clicking on “Apply,” the forms for each university in the Enactus Italy network will open. After submitting the application, students will be contacted by the Enactus representatives of their university or ITS — usually the Team Leader or the Faculty Advisor — for an initial meeting and to complete the onboarding process.
- 03The Enactus program is extracurricular and runs throughout the academic year.Trainings take place every two weeks and last about an hour. Each team must also organize itself independently to meet at least once a week, divide tasks, and move the project forward. The overall commitment is flexible, but it requires consistency and coordination. 👉 Commitment is key: this is not just a simple extracurricular activity, but a program that develops skills in team management, project management, and problem-solving.Those who manage to follow it with balance and responsibility gain a tangible advantage in the professional world and in personal challenges.
- 04University or ITS students enrolled in a university or institute that is part of the Enactus Italy network are eligible to participate. It is also possible to involve students from different courses, Enactus alumni, and, in some cases, external professionals or mentors who can contribute to the development of the project.
- 05Enactus Italy offers two complementary programs designed to guide students from identifying a problem to validating their entrepreneurial idea:Enactus Early Stage Program This is the starting point of the Enactus journey. The team begins by analyzing a social or environmental problem and, through workshops and mentoring, learns how to build a sustainable entrepreneurial solution to address it. Enactus Advanced Program This program is for those who already have a sustainable entrepreneurial idea aligned with Enactus criteria and want to further develop it up to validation or the creation of an MVP.Applications for the 2025/2026 edition must be submitted through the Call for Projects – Enactus Advanced Program, available on the Enactus Italy website. 📌 Important note: Even those applying directly with their entrepreneurial idea to the Advanced Program must still submit an application to join the Enactus team at their university, using the dedicated form on the Become an Enactus Student page.
- 06No specific skills or particular background are required to join the Enactus team at your university or ITS.Each group is made up of students with diverse profiles, as diversity of skills and perspectives is one of the core values of the program. The only truly essential requirement is motivation: the desire to learn by doing, to collaborate with others, and to create a real positive impact through an entrepreneurial project. In some cases, if the team is developing a project that requires specific technical skills (e.g., design, engineering, communication, economics…), they may look for students with that type of background. However, motivation, seriousness, and willingness to commit and collaborate remain the main selection criteria.
